This Privacy Policy explains how TidyShop collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app and related services.

1. What TidyShop does

TidyShop is an offline-first point-of-sale app for event sellers. It helps you manage products, variants, images, inventory, events, sales, promotions, payment records, booth terminals, and event results on your devices.

2. Information stored on your device

  • Your products, categories, prices, variants, and stock counts.
  • Product images you choose or capture for your catalog.
  • Events, sales, sale items, payment methods, fees, and notes.
  • Promotions, settings, booth-sync information, and app preferences.
  • ZIP backups you export and import through the app.

3. Information processed outside the app

TidyShop is designed to keep core catalog, inventory, event, and sales records on your device. The current version does not operate a cloud database or account system for those POS records.

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message. If you use Live Mode billing, Apple and trusted providers may process purchase information, app-generated identifiers, and entitlement status needed to complete and restore the purchase.

4. Permissions

  • Camera access may be used to take product photos when you choose to add them to your catalog.
  • Photo-library access may be used to select product images from your device.
  • Local-network access is used for Booth Sync between devices on the same local network or hotspot.

5. Purchases and billing

TidyShop may offer a one-time Live Mode purchase. Purchases are handled through Apple and trusted subscription or entitlement providers such as RevenueCat and Superwall. TidyShop does not process card payments or connect to card readers; it records the payment method and totals you enter while you use your preferred payment tool separately.

6. How we use information

  • Provide checkout, inventory, event, promotion, and sync features.
  • Store and restore the catalog and sales data you manage locally.
  • Validate Live Mode access and restore eligible purchases.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve TidyShop.
  • Provide support and respond to privacy or legal requests.

7. Third-party services

We may rely on Apple services and trusted providers such as RevenueCat, Superwall, and email or hosting providers to support app distribution, billing, entitlement management, support, and this website. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services and under their own policies.

8. Data retention

Local TidyShop data remains on your device until you delete it, clear it through the app, uninstall the app, or replace it with an imported backup. Exported backups remain wherever you save or share them. Support messages and purchase records may be retained as needed for support, security, accounting, legal, and operational purposes.

9. Your choices and rights

  • You choose what products, images, sales, and notes to enter.
  • You can manage camera, photo, and local-network permissions in your device settings.
  • You can export, import, reset, or delete local app data.
  • You can manage purchases through your Apple App Store account.
  • You may request access, correction, deletion, or export where legally applicable by contacting us.

10. Children

TidyShop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system is completely secure, so protect your device and exported backups appropriately.

12. International users

Information related to support, billing, hosting, or other services may be processed in countries other than where you live, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted with an updated effective date.
