Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of TidyShop and related services.

1. Who we are

TidyShop is an offline-first point-of-sale app for artist alleys, conventions, craft fairs, pop-ups, and market sellers. In these Terms, “TidyShop,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the TidyShop service operator.

2. Eligibility and account use

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use TidyShop.
  • You are responsible for your device, local data, settings, purchases, backups, and any activity that occurs through your installation of the app.

3. What TidyShop does and does not do

  • TidyShop helps you manage products, variants, stock, events, promotions, checkout records, and event results.
  • TidyShop does not process card payments, operate card readers, or act as a payment processor.
  • TidyShop is not an accounting, tax, legal, financial, or payment service. Reports and totals are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate if the data entered is incomplete.
  • You are responsible for decisions you make based on app output, including pricing, taxes, inventory, and event operations.

4. Device permissions and Booth Sync

TidyShop relies on device storage and permissions for product images, camera capture, and local-network Booth Sync. Booth Sync is designed for devices on the same local network or hotspot. It may not work if permissions are denied, unavailable, changed by the platform, or limited by your device or network settings.

5. Purchases and billing

  • Some features may require a one-time Live Mode purchase.
  • Purchases made through Apple are billed, restored, cancelled, and refunded under Apple App Store rules and your Apple account settings.
  • We may use trusted tools such as RevenueCat and Superwall to manage entitlements and purchase presentation.
  • Prices, plans, trials, and features may change with notice where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use TidyShop for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the app, local sync flow, website, or third-party services.
  • Submit or store harmful, infringing, private, or unlawful content through product data, images, notes, support messages, or other inputs.
  • Use the service to generate or distribute harassment, deception, threats, or other harmful material.

7. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the product information, images, sales records, notes, and other content you provide. You grant us permission to process that content as needed to operate TidyShop, provide local features, support Booth Sync, troubleshoot issues, secure the service, and comply with law.

8. Intellectual property

TidyShop, including its software, design, branding, and service content excluding your own content, is owned by TidyShop or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Service changes and availability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of TidyShop at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent operation. App behavior may depend on iOS, Android, local network, and other platform rules.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

TidyShop is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent allowed by law, without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, data accuracy, or that checkout, sync, backups, or reports will always work exactly as expected.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TidyShop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or device access resulting from your use of the service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users or systems, or if we need to comply with legal or platform requirements.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be posted at this page with a revised effective date.
